Aprilia sr 50 r factory dietech, liquid cooled. do i top up the liquid coolant + wat with just cold water?

and i know normally its only either dietech or factory but it some kind of limited edition. and the only reason i am asking is because the scooter is starting to chug. and the engine has cut out twice and the fuel and oil are full up so i was wondering if it overheating or something
