Why do conservatives make such a big deal about the liberals forming a coalition?

when that's exactly how harper got in the first time. he had a coalition w/the bloc & became prime minister. has everyone forgotten? it's pretty common in canadian politics. many years ago when the ndp were in power the cons & libs made a coalition together to get rid of them.
