What should I do, I am madly smitten with my professor?

I'm 22 and my comp lit professor is 40s and married. He is so not my type, hes balding, wears gles, really dry humor which I find slightly cute, and I pretty much disagree with a lot of his ideas, with regards to cl discussions. I'm absolutely crazy about him and I just don't know why, even after I found out he eloped and got married, I tried putting him out of my mind, but I just cant get him out of my head. My heart is telling me to go to his office and throw myself at him, but my intelligent head is saying "just leave it be." I kind of want to find out if he is moderately interested, he has never attempted anything inappropriate but he once asked if he could give me a ride home, after a meeting we had, of course I said no because I suspect I would have jumped his bones right there on the spot. I cant stop staring at his body etc I'm head over heels. How do I know if he is slightly interested, I don't want to start a relationship w/him, hes married, I just want to know? Help!!
