What are some good, fun advanced piano pieces?

My son just sent me a YouTube of a guy named Andersen playing the Devil's Staircase by Ligeti. If you can play THIS - you will impress anyone - especially other pianists. My husband (fine pianist) owns this - but flat-out said that he has no intention of ever playing it in public!!!
