Sound Grenade and Tinnitus?

So, about a week ago in cl I was unsure of this ringing i head and it turned out to be this sound grenade another person had on their ipod (Emits a high pitched sound that is hardly audible but sounds almost like a dog whistle to those that can). I've been noticing almost the same sound in my head which is Tinnitus for about a week or so. I'm hoping this is temporary as it is in fact extremely annoying. The sound in cl I found out lasted like 15 minutes
