Does the truth really hurt Christians that much?

Stating simple facts seems to be enough to totally enrage most of the christians in here. Why is it that atheists, pagans and others are expected to put up with a bunch of holy rollers telling them they are going to hell, but cannot state proven facts without a bunch of bashing or getting their questions deleted? Oh ye of little faith (among other things).
